Olivier Vandevoorde's 1999-2000 long-sleeved home shirt

Long-sleeved jersey worn during the 26th matchday of the 1999-2000 National Championship, by number 12: Olivier Vandevoorde; during this Pau-SCO match: a 2-1 away defeat, Vandevoorde replaced William Louiron. This match was played on February 26, 2000, in front of 650 spectators...

Striker Olivier Vandevoorde joined SCO Angers during the 1999-2000 season from Beauvais, Laval, Martigues, and Dunkerque (his youth club). He left at the end of the 2001-2002 season for Calais. He played 52 matches for SCO Angers and scored 6 goals.

At the end of the 1999-2000 season, SCO Angers finally returned to Ligue 2 after four long lean years in the National league, finishing 3rd. This SCO Angers side, led by Goavec, may not have had a "fantastic attack," but it boasted a solid defense (the best in the league) with players like Lemasson, Grossmann, W. Louiron, and Gunia.
